For skin and nails, directly apply desired amount and gently massage in until absorbed. Warm the oil between fingers and mix with coconut oil or olive oil. For a quick all-over treatment, massage into scalp and ends for 5 to 10 minutes. For deeper conditioning, apply from roots to ends as a 30 minute mask or let absorb overnight. Follow with shampoo and conditioner as normal, making sure to rinse thoroughly. Repeat weekly for best results. The recommended ratio of castor oil to coconut oil/olive oil for scalp treatment typically ranges from 1:2 to 1:3, depending on your hair type and the thickness of the oils: For Normal Hair: Use a 1:2 ratio (1 part castor oil to 2 parts coconut oil/olive oil).
